Spotlight on the Vbeam Laser

The Vbeam Perfecta laser involves the use of Pulsed Dye Laser (PDL) technology to send precisely targeted bursts of light at a patient’s skin imperfections. This advanced dermatology treatment is ideal for treating a wide range of skin issues, including sun spots, age spots, freckles, port wine stains, and other areas of undesirable discoloration. Patients with visible facial and leg veins can receive this laser therapy. The Vbeam laser is even effective for minimizing the appearance of stretch marks, scars, psoriasis, and warts.

One of the benefits of undergoing this type of laser therapy treatment is that results can usually be noticed immediately. During the treatment, patients may experience a warm or tingling sensation. The Vbeam laser system includes the Dynamic Cooling Device (DCD) to cool the skin immediately prior to the laser dose, which improves the patient’s comfort level.
